MCM invites our entire community to enjoy the museum with free admission from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, September 28. This Free Night we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with performances, food, and craft activities, beginning at 5 pm. All activities are free and available while supplies last.
Performances
- Dance performance by Waritas de Bolivia in the Wildernest, 5:45 pm
- Dance and music by Ballet Folklórico de Maria Diaz in the Wildernest, 6 pm
- Music performance by Angela Puerta and friends in the Wonderground, 6:30 pm
Activities
- Bike blender salsa with free chips and salsa, 5–6 pm on the rooftop
- Sample taquitos from Garabaldi Mexican Restaurant, while supplies last, in the Celebrations Room on the 2nd floor
- Sugar skull craft with Mariposa Learning Center, 5–8 pm in the Art Studio
- Maraca making with Play and Learn, 5–8 pm in the Art Studio
- Papel picado craft, 5–8 pm in the Art Studio
