Request a Field Trip Reservation
Requested field trip dates are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis, and are subject to availability.
A minimum of two weeks advance notice for field trip reservation requests is required; we will make every effort to satisfy late requests, but cannot guarantee accommodation. Requests are usually responded to within 3 to 5 business days.
Step 1: Request your field trip date
Field Trip Booking Times
Field Trips must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance (1 week in advance for group memberships) and are all subject to availability.
Field Trips are only available Wednesday through Friday. The earliest field trip start time is 9:30 am and the latest field trip start time is 1:30 pm. All field trip arrivals are booked on the hour or half hour.
MCM is unable to accommodate field trips during particularly busy seasons, such as school vacations and holidays.
Tip: Morning times fill up very quickly so we recommend completing the online booking request form as early as possible!
Step 2: Follow the instructions email from the Field Trip coordinator
Requests are usually responded to by email within 3 to 5 business days.
Read the email from the field trip coordinator, review the attached materials, and pay your deposit to secure your visit.
Reservations are secured with a non-refundable 50% deposit and should be considered tentatively held until MCM has received the deposit.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Deposits for field trips booked more than one month in advance are due within 30 days of booking. For trips booked within 30 days, deposits are due no later than three weeks prior to the field trip. Please contact our field trip team if you think you will need a deposit due date extension. Family memberships, coupons, and guest passes may not be used toward your payment.
Please note that your reservation is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from the registrar!
