    This playgroup is thoughtfully designed for our earliest visitors. We will provide a space for infants and toddlers (2 years and under) and their caregivers to explore and play together, and engage in activities that support
    various aspects of child development. Parents and caregivers will have the opportunity to connect with one another over a variety of topics. Come meet other families and make new friends!

    Mark International Kids for Peace Day with a celebration of creativity and connection. A half-hour Suzuki violin performance kicks off the morning, followed by a community art-making experience where kids can arrange garden cuttings into a beautiful, large-scale mandala on our garden rooftop. You can also search for peace in the Wonderground, and make peace mobiles in the art studio. It’s a serene, contemplative way to make peace visible and tactile.

    It’s a triple treat of creativity, crafts, and community! MOVE with Sara Rohs from Madison Contemporary Dance as she leads multiple sessions of Creative Movement dance classes designed to help kids explore music through movement and playful creative expression. MAKE with Aventuras en Español as we celebrate summer with crafts and games. And CELEBRATE with Overture’s Kids in the Rotunda Season Announcement Party, featuring a special scavenger hunt before the official season announcement at 5 pm. Three celebrations, one unforgettable night!

    Parenting a little one can feel isolating sometimes—come connect with others who understand! This special summer Saturday edition of our Early Explorers playgroup offers time for babies and toddlers under 2 to play with new toys while caregivers share conversation, stories, and support. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space for both kids and adults to recharge.
