Youth Climate Strike

News! Madison Children’s Museum Open for Free on Friday for the Youth Climate Strike!

In honor of the world’s children and the Global Youth Climate Strike, Madison Children’s Museum will be open and free to everyone on Friday, September 20. A last-minute, anonymous gift from a local family has provided the funding to make this possible.
All visitors are asked to check-in at the front desk, but no admission fee will be charged. We will be open on Friday, September 20, 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
At Madison Children’s Museum, we believe youth advocacy can drive more immediate collective, civic, and systemic solutions to our shared climate challenges. We lift their voices, welcome their ideas, proposals, and commitments, and encourage everyone to get involved and keep learning so that together we can work toward more sustainable solutions.
