  1. Giant Puppet Workshop

Comments Off on Giant Puppet Workshop

Learn how to make a giant puppet using recycled materials and simple construction techniques. We will be creating giant puppet figures for an art parade on May 2 called STRUT, led by UW visiting artist Laura Anderson Barbata. In this class, you can see techniques demonstrated for creating your own larger-than-life figures from cardboard and recycled materials. Hands on demonstrations, instructional materials and some supplies will be provided.

This class is free and intended for adults and children 9 and older with adult supervision. Please pre-register using the form below; seating is limited to 12. A second session covering the same material will be held on April 19th.
