Join us in the Art Studio to help Philo A. Fflatus, a writer in need of inspiration, finish his latest short story! He’s got the title and some characters, but he needs some kids to write and illustrate. Kids helping out can take home their own finished book in this free drop-in program.
Clay Creations is our drop-in ceramics program for all ages. For a $5 fee, participants can sculpt and paint their own ceramic clay creation. We will glaze and fire the work in our kiln and it will be ready for pickup within 2 weeks.
In this week’s installment, offered as part of the Wisconsin Science Festival, we take inspiration from the microscopic world to make clay creations based on microbes.
Classes are led by art professionals and feature a choice of a weekly project idea or open- ended building.

In its fourth year, Windows of Worlds (WoW) is an annual community building art project. The message of WoW is that everyone has a unique perspective in which they view the world, and that we can use this creative diversity to connect!
In this free drop-in workshop, participants will be decorating wooden picture frames to be suspended from trees for a large scale public art installation at Edgewood College on September 28.
