End of the Year Member Update

New Membership Manager

We’re delighted to introduce our new membership manager, Lily Hoyer-Winfield!

Lily comes to the museum from the Willy Street Co-op, where she started as a baker and worked her way up to be the assistant store director for Willy St. Co-op North. A Madison native, Lily is also an artist and mom of three. She enjoys cooking and preserving food with her family, including tapping trees for maple syrup. Lily loves engaging with the Madison community, particularly families and children, so this position was a natural fit for her.

Our former membership manager, Amanda, has taken on a new and exciting role in our Development Department as campaign coordinator, so you might still see her around the museum and at special events. We thank her for her excellent years of service to our members and are happy she hasn’t gone far.

Member Morning This Saturday

Our next Member Morning is this Saturday, December 21, 8–9:30 a.m.

All members will have full access to the museum before it opens to the public at 9:30 a.m. To help start your day we will provide complimentary coffee and juice—feel free to bring your own mug or sippy cup. Non-member friends are welcome at Member Mornings but must pay the regular admission price. Or you can use a guest pass (also, remember that you get 10% off guest admissions with your member discount).

Member Mornings are a special time every month that we reserve just for you to play! Member Mornings are held on the third Saturday of each month. The next one will be on 1/18/2020.

Traveling for the Holidays? Don’t Forget Your Membership Card!

At Family, Family Plus, and Wonder Maker membership levels your membership gets you FREE admission to all participating Association of Science-Technology Centers locations and 50% off of admission to all participating Association of Children’s Museums locations. But in order to take advantage of these benefits, you need to present your current membership card!

Download your Madison Children’s Museum membership card to your phone or come to our front desk and we can issue you a handwritten, paper card that will work as well. Need help or need the email with the digital card sent again? Contact us now! Because all requests have to be processed manually, we may not be able to issue you a new card in time if you wait.

Contact our membership manager by Wednesday, December 18 to be sure to have your request processed before you travel.

Last Call for Gift Memberships

If you want to give someone else the gift of a year of museum membership and you want it processed before the holidays, please CALL us ASAP at (608) 354-0500. Otherwise, you can give a gift membership online, and it will be processed in the new year.

Note these special open and closed hours for the holiday season and beyond:

The museum will be closed on these days:

December 23, 24 & 25 for the holidays
January 6–10 for annual winter maintenance

The museum will remain open on these special days:

Monday, December 30, 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m. for Winter Break Wonders
Tuesday, December 31, 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m. for New Year’s Eve
Wednesday, January 1, 9:30 a.m.–8 p.m., for New Year’s Day, free from 5–8 p.m.
