Children’s museum earns LEED Certification

MADISON (WKOW) — Madison Children’s Museum has been recognized for being environmentally friendly.
The museum was awarded LEED Gold Certification, LEED standing for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
It was honored for its green practices, like its use of recycled building materials and composting practice.
The children’s museum is the only one in the state to earn the certification.
