Explore air quality with local organizations and activities.
“Love My Air Wisconsin” will show you how you can stay active and learn ways to protect your health through hands-on activities, a story walk, and through technology that can help you learn about the air quality near you. Put your name in a raffle to win a mini air cleaner. Drawings will happen at 11 am and 12 pm.
The City of Madison Office for Sustainability and Resilience will offer opportunities to learn about the new air quality sensor network through fun games and activities.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will show you how we measure the air we breathe. Talk with DNR staff to see real air monitoring equipment in action, and learn how the state tracks air quality. You can spin a prize wheel for fun trivia prizes.
Visit the table for the Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness to learn more about heart health and try an air quality activity.
