Today on the Rooftop

It seems like we have finally escaped the rainy, cold weather last week brought. Three cheers for summer officially moving in! If you are anything like me, I live for these warm days filled with sunshine and laughter-since,lets be honest, everybody is happier in the summer.

This morning I took a break from my desk on the 4^th floor of the museum to stroll around on the Rooftop and holy-moley is it wonderful up there! Everything is in full bloom and green; so green that I had to keep reminding myself I was actually in downtown Madison and not at my parent’s country farm house. The Rooftop is like a little downtown oasis.  Here’s what’s happening today upstairs!

Kids love playing with the chicks. I’m not going to lie-I love playing with them too! They are just so darn cute!

These girls were having a blast splashing in the water and were pretending to catch fish! Note* There are no fish in the pond, but kudos for stellar imagination!

Look at these cuties! You have no idea how much I want pet chickens but my roommate would kill me if I came home with some.
