Sensational summer traditions begin with the first annual SummerPalooza

Rotary Club of Madison, a long-standing supporter of Madison Children’s Museum, is celebrating its one hundred year anniversary. RCM is honoring its lasting success for recruiting and retaining members, making it consistently one of the top ten Rotary clubs in the world.

To mark this achievement and continued successes for years to come, the club has elected to host a free fun-filled festival, held in partnership with MCM to welcome summer.

SummerPalooza will showcase downtown family-friendly Madison with live outdoor performances by local Madison acts at the Rotary Plaza, a traveling farm with live animals, bike decorating, games, and plenty of fun! SummerPalooza also features a parade around Capitol Square at noon and free admission to MCM all day.

Saturday, June 8, 2013, from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. at RotaryPlaza and Pinckney Street marks the first of this signature celebration of community engagement.
