Meet Our New Exhibit: Urb Garden
A new exhibit is underway at Madison Children’s Museum!
If you’ve been to the museum recently, you’ve noticed construction on our upper parking lot deck. This area will soon become our new Urb Garden, opening August 8.
Urb Garden is a three-season wonderland designed for the museum’s youngest visitors. Directly connected to the Wildernest, Urb Garden’s outdoor deck and garden houses a green oasis in Madison’s city center.
Young gardeners will learn about:
- Plant and food cycles
- Sustainability
- Local wildlife
- Greenhouses
- Weather patterns
Kids will also be able to participate in a variety of new workshops and classes in Urb Garden. Make pesto, paint flower pots, design and build a fairy home, and assemble windsocks!
