Get Out With the Family This Month!

Looking for fun things to do with the family?Trying to come up with fun things to do together each weekend can be tough, but we got you covered!

5 Things to do together this July:

1. Concerts on the Sqaure or Olbrich’s Summer Concerts are a great way to get outside with the kids. Bring a blanket, a picnic and bubbles to make it extra fun evening for kids.

2. Put on your swimsuits, grab the sunscreen and head down to Wingra Park to go boating! They have a wide variety of boats to rent so you can find the perfect boat for your family size and age range. Nothing beats an afternoon on the water with you loved ones!

3. Head over to Madison Children’s Museum! No, really, we aren’t just adding ourselves to the list for shameless promotion. We have tons of really cool events going on this month like Twilight Wednesday on July 3, a Hmong Festival on the Rooftop on July 13-14,  and fun summer classes! 4 . Art Fair on the Square is a great place to spend the day exploring with your children. Packed with music, live entertainment, food vendors and, of course, art, this event is sure to keep your family busy! There is also another chance to explore downtown during Maxwell Street Days on the third weekend of July!

6. Go Camping! Even if it is just for a day (though nights are better), take the whole family out to one of our great and many state parks. You can swim together, run around together, play games, grill…the choices are endless!
