BriXwerX Creativity Lab Saturday, June 30

Dave and Johnny Xandegar are BriXwerX!   BriXwerX is a father-and-son team that travels around Illinois and Wisconsin putting on “Creativity Labs” that inspire kids to be as creative with LEGOs as they are. Join them on June 30 for one of six hour-long sessions running from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Build the most wild and crazy sculpture that you can think of using BriXwerX’s huge store of LEGOs, and when you’re done, Dave and Johnny will snap a pic of your creation and post it on their website (http://brixwerx.webs.com/).

This will be briXwerX’s second Creativity Lab here at the museum. If you didn’t make it last time, be sure you don’t miss it this month!

Workshop times are 10 and 11 a.m., and 1, 2, 3 and 4 p.m. Registration is first come, first served at the front desk the day of the workshops.

And if you like baseball with your LEGOs, be sure to check out Dave & Johnny at the Madison Mallards game on Friday, June 29, when they will be special guests the night before their MCM lab. The Mallards asked briXwerX to create a LEGO sculpture of Maynard Mallard and design Maynard and Millie LEGO kits to be given away at various games this season, so be sure to get one!
