Worldwide Day of Play at MCM

Celebrate the Worldwide Day of Play at Madison Children’s Museum on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
- All day: Participate in the Slide-a-thon. Can kids (and spry adults) in Madison unite to slide 500 slides in one day? And if so, can we beat the record next year? Slide down the corkscrew slide in the Wonderground, all day.
- Play games with the original, universal toys at Exploration Station: Sticks & Stones (The stick was inducted into the Toy Hall of Fame in 2008. The stone still has not received its due recognition.) 10:30 am to noon.
- Make art, one of our favorite ways to play, at Art Adventures with Laurie: Indigo Dye Bandanas, 1 to 3 pm in the Wonderground.
