Open Doors for All Families: Caring for Kids in Scary Times
Friday, January 30 @ 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Free Admission All Day
At Madison Children’s Museum, fostering community with children, families, and neighbors is at the core of our mission, and that work has never felt more important. This Friday, we open our doors wide—not for business, but in solidarity, connection, and care.
We stand with Black and Brown families and all those targeted by state violence. We stand for justice, kindness, and human dignity. And we believe that coming together is an act of resistance and hope.
Join us Friday for a free day of gathering and play. We’ll share drop-in programs, family sing-alongs, art activities, parent conversations, and readings that celebrate bravery, kindness, and looking out for one another.
These are scary times, especially for our children. But when we gather, play, and create together, we show our kids what solidarity looks like. We show them they are not alone.
Every family is welcome. No tickets required; admission is free all day.
