Sustainability Superheroes

Be an environmental superhero!

Become a superhero who can create change in the world. In this camp, children will explore what it takes to live more sustainably. We will experiment with the sun, wind, recycling, gardening and urban agriculture as we cook in a solar oven and build our own solar cookers, make inventions with recycled materials, plant and harvest local organic vegetables from the museum’s gardens, build composters, investigate alternative energy, and care for urban chickens.

Design the city of your dreams!

Work to plan, design and construct a neighborhood community. Join educators from Taliesin to explore the work of Frank Lloyd Wright and learn about his principles of organic architecture and the inspiration he took from the natural world around him. Design and build 3D models to build a miniature city.
