Members-Only Opening Reception: Lessons from Penguins

Party like a penguin!

Join us for a members-only opening reception for Lessons from Penguins. (Exhibit open to the public at 9:30 a.m.)

This stunning collection of 120 photographs by award-winning photographer J.J. L’Heureux celebrates the penguins of Antarctica. The photos of these often playful, exuberant birds will be accompanied by a word or two reminding visitors to sing, play, and seize the day!

Visitors can participate in these special penguin activities:

• Carry a “penguin egg” on your flippered feet
• Enjoy penguin crafts and activities throughout the museum
• Snack on penguin treats

Exhibition organized through Katharine T. Carter & Associates and supported by Endres Mft. Company Foundation. On display in the MCM Community Concourse and Mendota Stairwell, January 15 – March 30, 2015.
