Virtual Concert: Madison Mystery Tour on the Rooftop Ramble

In 1969 the most famous rock band in the world, with Billy Preston, played their last live show. They set up on the rooftop of Apple Corps headquarters in London. The people lucky enough to catch the surprise performance experienced it from nearby balconies—or the street five floors below.
We had some fun with our own version of that historic show in October, filming our city’s most popular Fab Four cover band, Madison Mystery Tour, playing on the MCM rooftop. Observing public health rules, there were few people in attendance. Catch it online on the museum’s Facebook page and YouTube channel on Giving Tuesday (December 1). The concert is free, but it’s part of the Our Future in Play initiative. www.madisonchildrensmuseum.org/future
