Boldly going where no thread has gone before!

Drop in to explore the textile arts in this hands-on program. Each week we will have a project using some of our equipment to sew, knit or embroider.

Kids will be introduced to some of our art studio sewing tools and equipment and be able to explore a variety of sewing techniques. In the process, they’ll develop fine motor skills, learn about art and design, and be exposed to the creative side of STEM fields.

Textile Technology programs are supported by Dane Arts, with additional funds from the Endres Manufacturing Company Foundation, the Evjue Foundation, Inc., charitable arm of The Capital Times, the W. Jerome Frautschi Foundation, and the Pleasant T. Rowland Foundation.
