Spring Break Exploration Station
Exploration Station: Plant Shiitake Mushrooms
Monday, March 27 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Join us for special programming during the MMSD Spring Break Week. Exploration Stations offer a new hands-on activity each day for ages 4 and up.
Put the “fun” in “fungus” and help Cheryl plant shiitake mushrooms. We’ll “plant” them into wooden logs, as the wood decays, the mushrooms grow. Mushrooms are delicious, nutritious, and fun to cultivate. Kids can take part, using tools under supervision.
All Exploration Stations are free with general museum admission.
