Meet the Musician – violist Jennifer Clare Paulson
January 20, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 11:30 am

Kids love music, but even more, they love musical instruments! Add hands-on fun and you’ve got a hit. Professional musicians from the Madison Symphony Orchestra bring the instruments, you bring the kids!
Each session we’ll meet a new musician with a new instrument, during this gentle, personal introduction to classical music and musical instruments.
In January we’ll meet violist Jennifer Clare Paulson. She is a member the Madison Symphony Orchestra viola section and plays fiddle in bluegrass band Milkhouse Radio. In addition to performing in regional orchestral and chamber music settings she is also a member of several new music ensembles based in Chicago including Kyle Bruckmann’s Wrack and Guillermo Gregorio’s Madi Ensemble. JCP also teaches at The Madison Music Foundry and is part of the staff at Spruce Tree Music and Repair, where she repairs and restores new and vintage string instruments. Come say hi to her and her viola!
