As part of our Healthy Habits Week festivities, join us for an introduction to the practice of Mindfulness. We will read a short story, practice basic “belly breaths,” and make a Mind Jar as a first step towards learning how to pause and breathe when feeling strong emotions. Best for ages 4-8. 30 minute sessions starting at 2, 2:30, 3, and 3:30 p.m. 15 children maximum per session.
Active play, healthy food choices, and smart safety tips are the focus of Madison Children’s Museum’s Healthy Habits Week, March 30-April 3. This spring break celebration provides a range of health-focused displays and games for families. Healthy Habits Week is presented by Dean & St. Mary’s.
