Join us for a Funkyard Festival that will spark imagination and celebration. Funkyard Festivals is a new 2015 event series that offers free arts activities open to the public in our outdoor Funkyard space. Today’s SparkFest celebrates the elements of fire, earth, air, and water:

• Blacksmithing Demonstrations, 10 am-2 p.m. with MCM Senior Exhibit Fabricator Jon Edwards and guest artist Aaron Howard
• Fire Dance Performance, 11 a.m., followed by a dance lesson segment with Aylin Dance Troupe
• Pit Fired Pottery Demonstration with Midwest Clay Project, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
• Music by Forward! Marching Band, 1-1:30 p.m.
