Exploration Station: Planting Spring Gardens

Join us for special programming during the MMSD Spring Break Week. Exploration Stations offer a new hands-on activity each day for ages 4 and up.
How does your garden grow? Even the most contrary kid will find it blooming when you get started with Cheryl, who is the caretaker of all the gardens at MCM. Start seeds for a spring garden and you can even take home a seed packet to do more planting at home.
In the process, we’ll get a better understanding of the cycles of plants from seed to fruit. Even if they never get closer to a veggie garden than the produce aisle, understanding how food is grown helps make for healthier, happier kids.
All Exploration Stations are free with general museum admission.
