Access for Everyone
Fund for the Future

March 20 – April 22, 2018

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn through play at the museum, regardless of any economic, cognitive, or cultural barriers. Our goal is to always say yes to play, which is why we created our Access for Everyone (AFE) programs. Programs include Free Family Night, $1 Access Admission, $10 Family Access Memberships, and Access for School-age Kids. Read more about AFE programs.

When you visit the museum now through April 22, expect the front desk staff to ask if you’d like to add a gift to support AFE programs. When you give, you’ll get a leaf to decorate our spring tree. Or give today by clicking the button below. Your gift ensures we can always say yes to play!

Fund for the Future

The Madison Children’s Museum Fund for the Future is managed by Madison Community Foundation and provides a permanent, ongoing source of operating revenue to the museum.

A strong endowment will help maintain the museum during times of economic difficulty and offer us the financial flexibility to continue to grow.

The Fund for the Future will ensure that Madison Children’s Museum can serve our community for generations to come and help us continue to provide the kind of dynamic and innovative programming that was recognized with our National Medal award.  We are motivated to protect our future and continue to serve as a resource to the community long after we are gone.

What is the purpose of the endowment fund?

With many different funding sources that can change or disappear, the endowment will provide a permanent, steady stream of income to assure the stability of the organization…forever.

Is there a minimum-sized gift you will accept for the endowment?

Gifts of any size for the future of Madison Children’s Museum are welcome.

How can I pay for my gift?

Gifts may be made in full or over a three-year period through designated donations of cash, appreciated securities, or insurance policies. Contributions to the Madison Children’s Museum Fund for the Future should be made out to Madison Community Foundation and designated to the fund.
