You’ll be Viking it and liking it! Do you think you know what a Viking is and what Vikings’ lives were like? Was it all raiding, pillaging, and feasting? Did they really wear horned helmets? Find out in our quick trip back to medieval Scandinavia and get a slice of Viking life! Viking Campers will explore:
Think it’s all feasting on turkey legs and mead? Learn the ins and outs of the Viking diet and how they managed to live so long at sea.
The Vikings were master craftsmen of ships, but they were also pretty crafty on land. From metal work to fiber, there’s a lot to explore!
Explore the power of words – from runes to Sagas. Learn how the vikings shared information, and what they thought was important. Do you think they preferred feats of strength, or cunning?
Think the Viking life was all hard work? Think again! When they had free time, they liked to play games and have some fun.
