Join us for autism- and sensory-friendly museum time with a Halloween theme!
Everyone can enjoy a little Halloween fun! Kids can wear costumes if they want to, and participate in sensory friendly Halloween activities.
Sensory Friendly Halloween Activities
- Trick-or-Treat: look for the big pumpkins on the doors to our Wildernest and Art Classroom to ask for treats
- Seymore’s Glow Pond: sensory mat and mind jars that glow in the dark
- Fortune telling, 1st floor
- Sensory water beads, Wildernest
- Selfie photo booth, Celebrations Room A
- Cooldown room, Celebrations B
- Halloween Crafts, Art Studio
- Make a stress ball with the Richardson School, Possible-opolis
- Meet and touch the animals, Rooftop Clubhouse, 5:30 & 6:30 p.m.
Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registered attendees will be able to take advantage of express check-in!
Sensory-friendly hours are part of Madison Children’s Museum’s initiative to support and welcome families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or sensory processing challenges.
